At Amantani, you are at the heart of lasting change—change that is always rooted deeply in community. This year, as we mark our 17th anniversary, we celebrate not just the passing of time, but the collective effort, resilience, and love that your support has made possible.
Your generosity, alongside the unwavering commitment of the families we partner with and the tireless dedication of young people and artisans, has shaped every step of our journey. Without you, none of this would be possible.
In Cusco, your support helped bring joy to our anniversary celebration, uniting parents, young people, and the Amantani team for a special day at our campus. Despite the cold, warmth radiated as families journeyed from Ccorca and Huanoquite to join us. Together, we shared traditional dance, sang the national anthem, and honored the strength of a community you empower. I wish you could have been there.
Concurrently, in Iquitos, your contribution created equally meaningful moments. The young residents of our Youth House gathered for a festive lunch and a lively game of bingo. The event also marked the reopening of the freshly painted Youth House—a much-needed renovation that has transformed the space into a more comfortable and welcoming home for the students, thanks to you.
These moments are more than symbolic. They allow us to pause, reconnect with our shared purpose, and affirm our belief that every step forward—no matter how small—is worth celebrating, because you made it happen.
There is still much to accomplish. But with your continued support, we can keep creating opportunities for young people and artisans from rural communities to thrive.
